Overview: Privacy-First Architecture
Portfolio Manager Pro is designed with privacy as a core principle. All portfolio analysis happens locally on your computer. Your financial data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share it.
Information We Do NOT Collect
Portfolio Manager Pro operates entirely on your local machine. We do not:
- Collect, store, or transmit your portfolio data
- Access your Fidelity account credentials
- Track your investment positions or transactions
- Store your financial information on our servers
- Share your data with third parties
Information We May Collect
We only collect minimal, non-financial information:
- Contact Form Submissions: When you contact us through our website, we collect your name, email address, and message content to respond to your inquiry.
- Website Analytics: We may use standard web analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our website. This includes anonymized data such as page views, browser type, and general location.
- API Usage: If you use Portfolio Manager Pro's market data features, API requests are made directly from your computer to third-party providers (Alpha Vantage, Finnhub). We do not monitor or log these requests.
Third-Party Services
Portfolio Manager Pro integrates with the following third-party services:
- Anthropic Claude AI: When you use AI analysis features, your portfolio data is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Review Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com.
- Alpha Vantage & Finnhub: Market data requests are made directly from your computer to these providers. Review their respective privacy policies.
- SEC EDGAR: 13F filing data is retrieved from public SEC databases. No personal data is transmitted.
Data Security
Because Portfolio Manager Pro processes data locally on your computer:
- You maintain complete control over your financial information
- Your data is only as secure as your local computer security practices
- We recommend using strong passwords and keeping your software updated
- CSV files containing portfolio data should be stored securely and deleted when no longer needed
Your API Keys
Portfolio Manager Pro requires you to obtain your own API keys for market data services. These keys:
- Are stored locally on your computer
- Are never transmitted to LevelUp Solutions
- Should be kept confidential and not shared
- Can be managed through the application's settings
Children's Privacy
Portfolio Manager Pro is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
